I’ve always loved art and design, it’s been woven into my life for as long as I can remember

I’m the face behind Kyboozi Designs, a wife, a mum of three, and a creative soul based on the sunny Gold Coast, QLD. Most days, you’ll find me balancing family life with my love for design, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Art and design have always been part of who I am I’ve been sketching, creating, and designing since I could hold a pencil, it’s always been part of my story and has continued to grow with me throughout every chapter of life in different ways.

To me, design isn’t just about looking good. It’s about crafting a brand that feels like you, thoughtful, strategic, and rooted in your story. The kind of brand that gives you the confidence to show up, stand out, and connect with the people you're here to serve.

When I’m not designing, you’ll likely find me at the beach in summer, cheering on my kids at netball or Oz Tag during the year, or enjoying a coffee while soaking up the chaos and joy of family life.

I’ve lived around the world and spent much of my younger life travelling. Now, based on the Gold Coast (for the past 20 years), I still love connecting with people from all walks of life.

Fonts and colour are my love language. I’ve spent more money on typefaces and colour swatch books than I care to admit, but hey, details matter.

There's something therapeutic about cooking I love making dinners and baking. I’ve always designed and made all my girl's birthday cakes.

Graphic design is my passion and my Zen. It’s where I become an unstoppable force, endlessly creating, refining, and dreaming up new ideas. If it weren’t for time limits, I’d probably never step away from my desk.

We love beach days, sand through the car and salty skin. If we are not at the beach during summer, we are in the pool at home, enjoying the sun.

The name “Kyboozi” is a little piece of my heart. It comes from the first letters of my children’s names K, Z, and B, mixed with a few vowels and a spark of creativity. Just like my work, it’s rooted in family, love, and a touch of playfulness.

Like many of us, my path to finding purpose wasn’t linear. After my second child, I felt the pull for something more, not just a job, but a calling. I went back to study nutrition, but it wasn’t for me and found out I was pregnant with my third... surprise!. I loved learning, but something still didn’t click. It didn’t light me up.

Over the years I’ve worn a lot of hats, merchandiser, childcare educator, stay-at-home mum, but deep down, I’ve always been drawn to creativity. I was the one obsessing over fonts, tweaking layouts for fun, and getting lost in colours. So, I took a leap and enrolled in a design fundamentals course. Six months turned into a full diploma… and I haven’t looked back since.
